Solution You need to apply for an ECS as the client host to install the CloudTable client. Then, you can use the client on the ECS to access the CloudTable cluster. The ECS to be applied for and the CloudTable cluster must be in the same region, VPC, subnet, and security group.
Preparing an ECS For details about how to purchase a Linux or Windows ECS, see how to purchase an ECS in the Elastic Cloud Server Getting Started.
For details about how to create an ECS, see Elastic Cloud Server User Guide. Select Auto assign and set Billed By to Traffic. Figure 4 Configuring EIP type and bandwidth billing type Click Next: Configure Advanced Settings. Configure the ECS name and password.
For details, see Elastic Cloud Server User Guide. Select Auto assign and set Billed By to Traffic. Figure 4 Configuring EIP type and bandwidth billing type Click Next: Configure Advanced Settings. Configure the ECS name and password.
You need to prepare an ECS that is in the same VPC as the HBase cluster to access HBase. Ensure that nameserver is correctly configured in the /etc/resolv.conf file on your ECS. For details about configuration methods, see Preparing an ECS in the CloudTable Service User Guide.
Use the SSH login tool to remotely log in to the Linux ECS through the EIP. For details about how to log in to the ECS, see Logging In to a Linux ECS Using an SSH Password in the Elastic Cloud Server User Guide.
The Elastic Cloud Server page is displayed. Click Buy ECS in the upper right corner. The parameter configuration page is displayed.
For details, see "Preparing an ECS". Parent topic: Data Read/Write
Use the SSH login tool (such as PuTTY) to log in to the Linux ECS through the EIP. For details about how to log in to the ECS, see "Login Using an SSH Password" in Logging In to a Linux ECS of the Elastic Cloud Server User Guide. Install the client downloaded in Step 3.

Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) CloudTable uses an Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) as a node in the cluster. For more information about ECS, see the documentation of Elastic Cloud Server.
Use the SSH login tool (such as PuTTY) to log in to the Linux ECS through the EIP. For details about how to log in to the ECS, see "Remotely Logging In to a Linux ECS (Using an SSH Password)" in Logging In to a Linux ECS of the Elastic Cloud Server User Guide.

For details about how to prepare an ECS, see Preparing an ECS. Install JDK 1.7 or later on the Windows ECS. However, you are recommended to use JDK 1.8 or later and install Eclipse that uses JDK 1.7 or later.
Use the SSH login tool to remotely log in to the Linux ECS through the EIP. For details, see Login Using an SSH Password in the Elastic Cloud Server User Guide.
CloudTable is based on an elastic cloud server (ECS). You need to create an ECS in the same subnet as the CloudTable cluster, synchronize the ZooKeeper address of the cluster, and access the cluster using the client or APIs. Parent topic: Connection and Access
