Take ECS as an example. Enter an ECS username and password. Key: The Username and Key are displayed on the page. For details about how to generate and obtain a key, see Adding a Target Host to a Host Cluster. SSH Port Yes Port 22 is recommended. Custom ports are supported.

Deploying an Application on ECS Purchasing and Configuring an ECS This section uses Elastic Cloud Server (ECS). You can also use your own Linux host that runs Ubuntu 16.04 OS. Buy an ECS. The following table lists mandatory configurations.

The following requirements are mandatory for you to import the purchased ECS: The ECS is running. The ECS and host cluster have the same OS. Agent host has a public IP (agent mode) when using a default agent pool. The ECS has been imported as a target host.

The Elastic Cloud Server page is displayed. Click the target ECS. On the ECS details page, click the Security Groups tab. Click a security group ID. On the page that is displayed, click Manage Rules > Inbound Rules.

The first application is used for CCE deployment, and the second and third applications are used for ECS deployment.

When purchasing a Huawei Cloud ECS, you are advised to select Arm-based CentOS, Ubuntu, or Huawei Cloud EulerOS. Arm-based EulerOS does not have the yum source of openjdk-11. If you encounter any problems during deployment, see Installing JDK.
Node Type Select Elastic Cloud Server (VM). Specifications Select 2 vCPUs and 8 GiB memory or higher. OS Click Public image and select an Euler image. Node Name Enter a custom name. Login Mode Select Password. Password Enter a password. Network Settings Node IP Select Automatic.
ECS Log in to the ECS console. Locate the ECS to be deleted in the list, choose More > Delete, and follow the prompts to delete it. Released resources cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing these operations.
