Take ECS as an example. You need to enter the ECS username and password. Key: The Username and Key are displayed on the page. For details about how to generate and obtain a key, see Editing a Host Cluster. SSH Port Yes Port 22 is recommended. Custom ports are supported.

Deploying an Application on ECS Purchasing and Configuring an ECS This section uses Elastic Cloud Server (ECS). You can also use your own Linux host that runs Ubuntu 16.04 OS. Buy an ECS. The following table lists mandatory configurations.

The Elastic Cloud Server page is displayed. Click the target ECS. On the ECS details page, click the Security Groups tab. Click a security group ID. On the page that is displayed, click Manage Rules > Inbound Rules.
The Elastic Cloud Server page is displayed. Click Buy ECS on the ECS console. On the ECS configuration page, set parameters as prompted. After setting the parameters, click Submit, and the ECS is created.

Public services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic IP (EIP), and Image Management Service (IMS), are shared within the same region.
ECS Select the ECS to be deployed. Select Deployment Source Artifact: Select an existing software package from Artifact. OBS: Select the software package uploaded using OBS. Action Control Continue the task even if this action fails.
The first application is used for CCE deployment, and the second and third applications are used for ECS deployment.
Linux proxy: Use an ECS bound with an EIP as a proxy. During the deployment, the executed commands will be delivered to the proxy and forwarded to each target host through SSH. The hosts will be deployed in batches.
When purchasing a Huawei Cloud ECS, you are advised to select CentOS, Ubuntu, or Huawei Cloud EulerOS based on Arm. EulerOS based on Arm does not have the yum source of openjdk-11. If you encounter any problem during deployment, see Solutions to Common Problems.
Node Type Select Elastic Cloud Server (VM). Specifications Select 2 vCPUs and 8 GiB memory or higher. OS Click Public image and select an Euler image. Node Name Enter a custom name. Login Mode Select Password. Password Enter a password. Network Settings Node IP Select Automatic.
ECS Log in to the ECS console. Locate the ECS to be deleted in the list, choose More > Delete, and follow the prompts to delete it. Released resources cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing these operations.
