Currently, the following types of resources can be managed: Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), databases (Relational Database Service (RDS), Data Replication Service (DRS), GaussDB NoSQL, and GaussDB), networking (Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Load Balance (ELB), Elastic IP (EIP))
A Prometheus instance for ECS has been created. To use the old Elasticsearch Exporter ingestion function, switch to the old access center. Procedure Log in to the AOM 2.0 console.
By using the images, you can purchase an ECS and UniAgent will then be automatically installed on it. Connecting Self-Built Middleware to AOM in the CCE Container Scenario for Metric Monitoring Prometheus monitoring provides multiple common middleware Exporters.

Suggestion: On the ECS page, check whether the host is restarted, stopped, or deleted. On the CCE page, check whether the service is stopped or deleted.

Log in to the ECS as the root user, upload the Exporter software package to the ECS, and decompress it. Log in to the RDS console. On the Instances page, click an RDS DB instance name in the instance list. On the basic information page, view the RDS security group.
You need to ensure that the UniAgent has been installed and is running on the ECS where the script is to be executed. In the navigation pane, choose Scripts. On the script management page, locate the target script and click Execute in the Operation column.
There are two types of nodes: Static: Select an ECS under a specified CMDB application. Dynamic: Select a node in the CMDB application to dynamically obtain ECSs under the node. This method also takes effect for instances added later. Click OK. Click Execute.
The metrics that can be aggregated include the metrics ingested to Prometheus instances for cloud services, as well as CCE and ECS metrics collected by ICAgent. Step 1: Connecting Cloud Services for a Monitored Account The following uses FunctionGraph and ECS as examples.
For example, you can grant Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) users only the permissions for managing a certain type of ECSs. Most policies define permissions based on APIs. For the API actions supported by AOM, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions.
Obtaining Basic Information Before querying time series objects, obtain the value of the node ID from dimensions on the ECS console, and the value of the cluster ID from dimensions on the cluster management page of the CCE console. For metric_name of CPU usage, see Host Metrics.
Constraints Only the default or common Prometheus instance, and the Prometheus instances for CCE, cloud services, and ECS support data multi-write. The data multi-write function is not generally available. To use it, submit a service ticket.

Prerequisites You have connected a Prometheus instance for ECS or a common Prometheus instance. For details, see Managing Prometheus Instances or Connecting Open-Source Monitoring Systems to AOM. A host group has been created. For details, see (New) Managing Host Groups.
Create a Prometheus instance for ECS and associate it with a collection task to mark and categorize collected data. For details, see Managing Prometheus Instances. Connect middleware and custom plug-ins to AOM.
A host can be your own VM or physical machine, or an Elastic Cloud Service (ECS) or Bare Metal Server (BMS) purchased from Huawei Cloud. A host can be connected to AOM for monitoring only when its OS meets requirements and it is installed with an ICAgent.
