In the recycle bin list, locate the ECS to be recovered and click Recover in the Operation column. The Recover ECS page is displayed. Click Submit. If the recovery is successful, the ECS is displayed in the ECS list and the ECS status is Running.
Table 3 server_groups parameter information Parameter Type Description id String Specifies the ECS group UUID. name String Specifies the ECS group name. members Array of strings Specifies the ECSs in an ECS group. metadata Object Specifies the ECS group metadata. project_id String
For more information, see Table 4. mode No String Specifies whether the ECS supports OS reinstallation when the ECS is running. If the parameter value is withStopServer, the ECS supports OS reinstallation when the ECS is running.

For more information, see Table 4. mode No String Specifies whether the ECS supports OS change when the ECS is running. If the parameter value is withStopServer, the ECS supports this feature. The system automatically stops the ECS and then changes its OS.
Configuring ECS Metadata (Discarded) Function This API is used to configure ECS metadata. When you call this API, all the metadata of this ECS will be deleted, and the ECS uses the value configured in the request. This API has been discarded.
Modifying the Specifications of an ECS (Discarded) Function This API is used to modify the specifications of an ECS. For a running ECS, the system will automatically stop the ECS, copy the ECS data to the target node, which can be the source node, and then restart the ECS.
Why Does sshd Fail to Be Started on a Linux ECS? Symptom The sshd service fails to be started on a Linux ECS, and /var/empty/sshd cannot be accessed. Scenarios The operations described in this section apply to ECSs running CentOS 7 or EulerOS.
In the search box above the ECS list, enter the ECS name, IP address, or ID, and click for search. Click the name of the ECS whose subnet needs to be modified. The page providing details about the ECS is displayed. Click the NICs tab.
DHCP is enabled in the VPC which the ECS belongs to. The ECS network connectivity is normal. The NIC has been set to DHCP so that the ECS can dynamically obtain an IP address. For details about how to set the NIC to DHCP for a Linux ECS, see Setting the NIC to DHCP.
What Are the Requirements for Attaching an EVS Disk to an ECS? The EVS disk and the target ECS must be located in the same AZ. The target ECS must be in Running or Stopped state. The EVS disk must not be frozen.
For details, see Logging In to a Windows ECS Using MSTSC. The target ECS needs to have an EIP bound. (If you log in to an ECS through an intranet, for example, through VPN or Direct Connect, the ECS does not require an EIP.)

Checking the ECS Route Configuration Linux ECS Run the route command to check the routing policy.
Can an ECS Without an EIP Bound Access the Internet? Yes. You can use the NAT Gateway service to allow ECSs in a VPC to access the Internet using an EIP.
Why Is the Memory of an ECS Obtained by Running the free Command Inconsistent with the Actual Memory? Symptom After you create an ECS, you run the free -m command to view the ECS memory. The ECS memory is less than the memory configured during ECS creation.
Constraints Before installing a GUI on an ECS, ensure that the idle memory is greater than or equal to 2 GB. Otherwise, the GUI installation may fail or the ECS cannot be started after the installation.

Can I Attach Multiple Disks to an ECS? Yes. The ECSs created after the disk function upgrade can have up to 60 attached disks. When you create an ECS, you can attach 24 disks to it. After you create an ECS, you can attach up to 60 disks to it.
How Can I Change the Resolution of a Windows ECS? Scenarios You can change the resolution of Windows ECSs. Solution 1: Using VNC The operations of changing an ECS resolution vary according to the Windows OS.
