Do not upgrade ECS kernel or OS versions. If you want to upgrade the main OS version, for example, from CentOS 7.2 to Cent OS 7.3, use the provided OS changing function. Do not uninstall the performance optimization software pre-installed on your ECSs.
Symptom Take an ECS running CentOS 6.8 as an example. After Python was upgraded from 2.6 to 2.7, Cloud-Init did not work. Data, such as the login password, key, and hostname could not be imported to the ECS using Cloud-Init.

Switch to the page providing details about the ECS again, click the Disks tab, and check whether the number of disks that can be attached to the ECS has been changed. If yes, advanced disk has been enabled. If no, enabling advanced disk failed.

This section describes how to use the IIS service to set up multiple websites on an ECS running Windows Server 2022 Standard 64-bit. Prerequisites You have created an ECS. For details, see Purchasing an ECS in Custom Config Mode. You have installed the IIS service on the ECS.
Scenarios and Disk Partitions If you have added a data disk during ECS creation, you must initialize the data disk after logging in to the ECS. Scenarios After a disk is attached to a server, you need to log in to the server to initialize the disk, that is, format the disk.
Method 1 The following settings will become invalid after the ECS is restarted.

Symptom When multiple users log in to an ECS running Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2016, a user opens the browser and other users failed. Solution This section uses Internet Explorer as an example.
You need to add the hosts file to the ECS and configure it to point the test domain names to the ECS IP address for testing. The following figure shows the content of the hosts file. The path of the hosts file is /etc/hosts.

If an ECS or EVS disk is faulty or data is deleted accidentally, you can use data backups to quickly restore data. What Is CBR? CBR enables you to back up ECSs and EVS disks with ease.
Symptom The error message "WARNING:infoROM is corrupted at gpu 0000:00:0D.0" is displayed when the nvidia-smi command is executed on a Linux ECS, and the services have been affected.
In the ECS list, locate the row containing the target ECS and choose More > Troubleshoot > Trigger OS Dump in the Operation column. Learn about the OS dump risks and select the checkbox. Click OK to trigger an OS dump. Parent Topic: OS Dump
