On the Elastic Cloud Server page, click the name of the target ECS. The page providing details about the ECS is displayed. Click the Security Groups tab, expand the information of the security group, and click the security group ID.
On the Elastic Cloud Server page, locate the row containing the target ECS and choose More > Modify Specifications in the Operation column. The Modify ECS Specifications page is displayed. Select a new ECS type and flavor.
Constraints When an ECS is deleted, the NIC that is attached to the ECS and specified by port_id through the OpenStack Nova API will be retained, and the NIC specified by net_id will be deleted.

Changing an ECS Non-Administrator Password You can use the Change ECS Non-Administrator Password card to change the password of a non-administrator user. Prerequisites UniAgents have been installed for all ECSs, and are in the running state.
In the ECS list, click the target ECS name. The Summary tab page of the ECS is displayed. In the ECS Information area, click the name of its VPC. The Virtual Private Cloud page is displayed. Locate the target VPC and click the number in the Subnets column.
On the Elastic Cloud Server page, click the name of the target ECS. The page providing details about the ECS is displayed. Click the Security Groups tab and view security group rules.
You can obtain the private IP address of the ECS on the Elastic Cloud Server page.

Querying ECS Specifications Function This API is used to query ECS specifications. Calling Method For details, see Calling APIs.
DHCP is enabled in the VPC which the ECS belongs to. The ECS network connectivity is normal. The NIC has been set to DHCP so that the ECS can dynamically obtain an IP address. For details about how to set the NIC to DHCP for a Linux ECS, see Setting the NIC to DHCP.
How Can I Handle Slow ECS Startup? If an ECS requires a long period of time to start, you can change the default timeout to speed up the startup. Log in to the ECS.
How Do I Fix a BSOD on a Windows ECS? Symptom A blue screen of death (BSOD) occurs on a Windows ECS, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Bugcheck code and module that may cause the BSOD Possible Causes Third-party software from unknown sources is used. The CPU usage is too high.
