For details, see Cannot Log in to the ECS or Create a Non-root User After Cloud-init Is Configured. Fail to use an obtained private key to log in to an ECS after the ECS starts (Fail to obtain the ECS login password). Restart the ECS and try again.

Does CTS Record ECS Creation Failures? Yes. When you create an ECS, the operation and its result will be reported to CTS. How It Works With CTS, you can record ECS operations for later query, auditing, and backtracking.

How Is an ECS in a DeC Billed? You can buy pay-per-use ECSs in a DeC using the remaining computing resources on the physical servers you have bought. No additional fees are charged for the computing resources.
Can I Change the Security Group of an ECS? Yes. An ECS must be associated with a security group. You can change the security group of an ECS at any time. You can log in to the management console to change the security group on the ECS details page.
Data Disks Are Not Displayed After a Windows ECS Is Restored Symptom When a Windows ECS is restored, the data disks are not displayed. Possible Cause Due to the limitations of Windows operating systems, data disks are in offline mode after an ECS is stored.
