From ECS-hosted MongoDB to DDS This practice describes how to use DRS to migrate data from a MongoDB database built on an ECS to a DDS instance in the same VPC of the same region through a VPC.
In dual-active DR mode, at least one of the two DR databases must be an RDS DB instance on the current cloud, and the other can be an RDS DB instance on the current cloud, other cloud database, self-built database on the ECS, or on-premises database.
Values: offline: indicates an on-premises database. ecs: indicates a database built on Huawei Cloud ECSs. cloud: indicates a Huawei cloud database. Enumerated values: offline ecs cloud job_direction String Migration direction.
Public services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic IP (EIP), and Image Management Service (IMS), are shared within the same region.
Checking iptables Settings If the source database is a self-built database on an ECS and cannot be connected after the preceding operations are performed, check the iptables settings.
For example, the service type code for EC2 is hws.service.type.ec2. resource_type String Specifies the resource type code of the purchased product.

Log in to an ECS that can access the source database.
