Ensure that inbound security group rules allow traffic to flow to the ECS over ports 22 and 3306. Prerequisites A yum repository has been configured.
One ECS is used as the primary node, and the other is used as the standby node. Ensure that inbound security group rules allow traffic to flow to the ECSs over port 5432. Prerequisites A yum repository has been configured.
If any modification is required, run the following command: echo <value> > /sys/fs/cgroup/memory/<cgroup_name>/memory.limit_in_bytes If more memory is required, upgrade the ECS flavors.
Remotely log in to the ECS to be migrated and verify that it can be accessed from the Internet. For details, see Login Overview. Check that the migration tool can access the HCE repository to obtain the dependent packages.
