To export the monitoring data of an ECS or BMS, go to the server monitoring page. In the navigation pane, choose Server Monitoring > Elastic Cloud Server (or Bare Metal Server). Above the server list, choose Export > Export Data.
View the CPU usage of the ECS whose ID is 6f3c6f91-4b24-4e1b-b7d1-a94ac1cb011d from 20:00:00 to 22:00:00 on April 30, 2019. The monitoring interval is 20 minutes. GET https://{Cloud Eye endpoint}/V1.0/{project_id}/metric-data?
If you set idle to mwait in the guest OS for an SAP HANA ECS, the guest OS will enter the mwait state when idling. This results in the guest OS using fewer compute resources than it does when idle is set to poll.

Basic monitoring involves metrics automatically reported by ECS, such as CPU usage. The data is collected every 5 minutes.
For example, the ECS namespace is SYS.ECS, and the DDS namespace is SYS.DDS. Default Value N/A type Yes String Definition Event type. It can contain only letters, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
Locate the ECS and select the specified OBS bucket in the Permanent Data Storage column. Select the metric data file you want to view in the OBS bucket.
For example, you can set ECS cpu_util to 80. For detailed thresholds, see the value range of each metric in the appendix.

Prerequisites You have installed the Agent on an ECS or BMS. For details, see Installing the Agent. Viewing OS Metrics Log in to the Cloud Eye console. Perform the following operations based on your resources.
For example, if the monitoring metric of an ECS is CPU usage, metric_name is cpu_util.
You can bind an EIP assigned in a VPC to your ECS to access the Internet. Different EIPs can share a bandwidth, reducing your bandwidth costs. With the event monitoring function, Cloud Eye monitors the EIP status.

On the Cloud Eye console, choose Server Monitoring > Elastic Cloud Server, locate the ECS, and click Not installed in the Agent Status column. Install the Agent as instructed. Case 4: The Agent installed on the ECS does not report the disk usage.
For example, the dimension of an ECS is instance_id. Regex Pattern: ^([a-z]|[A-Z]){1}([a-z]|[A-Z]|[0-9]|_|-){1,32}$ first_dimension_value Yes String First-level dimension value of the resource, which is the resource ID, for example, 4270ff17-aba3-4138-89fa-820594c39755.
