This section describes how to add data disks on the ECS console after an ECS is created. Constraints A maximum of 60 disks can be attached to an ECS. The number of disks that can be attached to an ECS varies depending on the ECS flavor and disk type.

On the ECS list page, locate a normal ECS and click its name. On the displayed page, click the Disks tab. On the Disks tab, click Attach Disk.
Attaching a NIC to an ECS Scenarios If an ECS requires multiple NICs, you can call the API for creating NICs and attach them to the ECS. A NIC can be attached by setting the nics parameter during ECS creation or after the ECS is created.
In this case, how do I log in to the ECS whose system disk has been replaced? Before stopping an ECS for disk detachment, release the IP address assigned to the ECS using DHCP so that ECS can correctly obtain an IP address later.
You cannot determine whether an ECS supports password reset offline. If the password fails to be reset offline, this API does not report an error. A new password takes effect after the ECS is started or restarted.
Modifying the Specifications of an ECS (Pay-per-Use) Function ECS specifications can be modified, for example, upgrading the vCPUs and memory, to meet service requirements. This API is used to modify ECS specifications. This API is an asynchronous API.
Constraints You can modify the ECS specifications only when the ECS is stopped. Spot ECSs do not support specifications modification.

The Buy ECS page is displayed. Configure ECS parameters. For details, see Purchasing a Custom ECS .
Attaching a Disk to an ECS Scenarios If the existing disks of an ECS fail to meet service requirements, for example, due to insufficient disk space or poor disk performance, you can attach more available EVS disks to the ECS, or purchase more disks (choosing Storage > Elastic Volume
On the Elastic Cloud Server page, select the yearly/monthly ECS to be renewed. Choose More > Renew in the Operation column. You can renew multiple yearly/monthly ECSs at a time. Select the yearly/monthly ECSs to be renewed. On the top of the ECS list, choose More > Renew.
Configuring Custom Policies for ECS Self-Service O&M Scenario ECS self-service O&M depends on Cloud Operations Center (COC).
Why Does the NVIDIA Kernel Crashes on a GPU-accelerated ECS? Symptom A GPU-accelerated ECS crashed during running. After the ECS was restarted, no NVIDIA driver stack logs were recorded.

In the ECS list, locate the target ECS and choose More > Manage Disk/Backup > Create Disk Backup. If the ECS has been associated with a vault, configure the backup information as prompted. Server List: The ECS to be backed up is selected by default.
To attach an EVS disk to an ECS, you need to call the desired API. A data disk can be attached by setting the data_volumes parameter during ECS creation or after the ECS is created. This section describes how to attach a disk to a created ECS.
If the ECS startup failed, try again later or modify the specifications. For details about how to modify specifications, see Modifying Individual ECS Specifications. Parent topic: ECS Failure
How Do I Delete or Restart an ECS? Deleting an ECS Log in to the management console. Select the region where the ECS is located. Under Compute, choose Elastic Cloud Server. Locate the row containing the target ECS and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
