How Do I Delete or Restart an ECS? Deleting an ECS Log in to the management console. Select the region where the ECS is located. Under Compute, choose Elastic Cloud Server. Locate the row containing the target ECS and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.

Changing the ECS Group of an ECS The ECS group of the ECS to be managed must be the same as that of the target node pool. For more operation guides, see Managing ECS Groups. Log in to the ECS console. In the navigation pane, choose Elastic Cloud Server > ECS Group.

Can I Install or Upgrade the OS of an ECS? You can install or upgrade ECS OSs provided on the cloud platform. When you create an ECS, you can select a public image or a private image created from a public image to install the ECS OS.

Can I Forcibly Restart or Stop an ECS? Yes. If an ECS remains in the Restarting or Stopping state for over 30 minutes after it is restarted, you can forcibly restart or stop the ECS as follows: Log in to the management console.
Constraints The primary NIC of an ECS has routing rules configured and cannot be deleted. URI POST /v1/{project_id}/cloudservers/{server_id}/nics/delete Table 1 describes the parameters in the URI.
Attaching a NIC to an ECS Scenarios If an ECS requires multiple NICs, you can call the API for creating NICs and attach them to the ECS. A NIC can be attached by setting the nics parameter during ECS creation or after the ECS is created.

Constraints You can modify the ECS specifications only when the ECS is stopped. Spot ECSs do not support specifications modification.
